Jeebus, $455! I've never had any problems with good 'ol Brother Ptouch tape labels staying affixed to cables.

The ptouch labels come off after time.

Yes, the label on the cable MUST be stable.

That looks beautiful.
So colorful and I sure they can find exactly where every cable goes.

We use one like that
http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/def...spx?EDC=388190

It prints labels that wrap around the cable and I have never had a problem with the labels coming off.

Same company, I also used the wire wrap labels that laminate over themselves, never had a single label come off

Don't label the cables. Only label the patch panel ports using a Ptouch.
In the rare event a cable gets labeled we still use the Ptouch.

We do not label most cables.

The only ones we do are LAC's that run between cabinets or rooms.

We only label server cables, and of course the patch panel. We use a Brother PTouch and don't have any problems with the labels falling off.

+1

It does a great job and the labels are fabric so they are pretty flexible (like the cable you attach it to)
