Need a new phone - Sony Ericsson P1?

So I have had my Sony Ericsson S710a for just over 2 years and it is beginning to fail. I was looking around on wireless imports to check out Sony Ericsson K800i and K810i. I really want a phone that has a good camera because I use my phone camera often. However, I saw that a new sony phone was about to go on sale (P1). I don't want to spend more than 400ish on a phone but the P1 looks awesome.

Has anyone heard much on this phone? reviews and price?

dunno, but my k550 is pretty good, and can be had for like 225 unlocked. 2mp camera, but quality is a bit disappointing. works well in high light areas, but very crappy in low light

P1 should cost more than 500 when it first come out. You will probably have to wait a few months before it hits the 400 USD range.

I believe the P1 has a 3mpx camera, Wifi and all that jazz. Looks good so far and if the price is right I am getting it.

Actually the SE K850i is a better camera phone. The k800i, which is still lying around somewhere in my house, is good, but the k850i just came out with a 5MP camera. The styling looks good also.

If anyone is looking for a good phone w/o a camera (i know, I know....who doesn't have a camera phone nowadays?) - I've got a pretty good one. My fiance and I both have an white SE m600i. We use that for surfing the web and checking e-mail.

None of us have a need for a camera phone b/c, my fiance has a nikon d80 and i own a p+s canon elph.

The k800i was my fiance's old phone. I used to use the Samsung sgh-d900 (which is a FANTASTIC phone).
