Need help finding a laptop screen

friends laptop screen broke and need to replace it.. the model # for the screen is

LQ150U1LH22B

New or used.. would prefer to spend less than 250

Uh. What model is that? I don't memorize serial numbers...and I dunno if replacing the display on a laptop can go that cheaply.

Yep, it's the most expensive part of a laptop. Is it cracked or something or is it dead? It could be the video board on the motherboard or maybe the LCD connector needs to be reseated.

Pull the drive and get a new laptop.

Oof...it's a high-end display too. Doubt it. And the best place I can think of is Dell itself for the replacement part.

Here's hoping your friend can find a guy with this laptop with a working screen but a stepped-on-everything-else.
