Shit is driving me nuts. I got the phone last week and today the battery is low. It beeps like every 5 minutes and is loud as fawk. How do I make the alert go away?! Even when I change the sound setting to vibrate it still beeps!

you have to learn how to edit the gaintable.bin on the phone and adjust the system sounds to 0...i know its possible on GSM phones, i have never worked with CDMA ones. do a search on howardforums.com for that.

The worst part is that the battery won't die for 8-10 hours after it starts beeping. Even if you talk on it.
