Is the motorola v600 usuable between att and cingular? Someone is selling their att v600 and I have cingular will my sim automatically work or will I have to get it unlocked. If so how would go anout and do that?

 

I dont think the ATT Version of V600 was unlocked, you will have to get it unlocked, and you will prolly end up paying between $20-40 depends on where and the cable you get.


Or You could call up cingular and tell them you have a AT&T Phone and if they could help you unlock it

 

it's a horrible phone anyway. i had one for a few months. worst phone i've ever had, and that's saying something. it would always freeze up and randomly drop calls. the user interface sucks, too.

but since cingular and at&t are one and the same now, they should be able to help you out if you do get it.

 

yea i have a v400 i'm on my 3rd w/ insurance .... glad i have insurance, first time it was the earpiece, second time the screen, and the third one has already FROZEN on me after one and a half days of owning it , next time it goes out i'm going to demand a new phone @ a discounted price
