I dont know the guy personally so I probably won't be setting up the auction with him sending the phone. I wouldn't imagine the place offering a refund since they have to special order it over from the uk...that's the only place that has it out as far as I know. Didn't get a chance to go in today, but I'll try swinging by tomorrow if they're open to get some info.

you guys should lay off those V600's i heard they wont be coming out for at least 2-3 months. The models that are out right now are testing/engineering models. be careful

 

If you get one of these, chances are it won't work correctly with the service(s) and after the real thing comes out, if you try to sell it, people are going to recognize a dud.....

Trust me, you can wait.

 

It's in full production release in the UK in retail packaging and all. I think soon to be in Germany or something like that. The one's that are being sold in the US right now are probably the test models though since no retail models have been sold yet in the states.

 

Plus the whole Astin Martin set is SOLD OUT...

Can't say because the service provider is not selling the phone yet. So mine is just....generic.

So.....the display say:

No service = Inactive [insert service provider here] sim-card.

Nope, my GSM sim-card is just inactive right now. I haven't reactivated it yet. But even a deact card will let you get into the phone (my 600 and my mpx200). I have these phone for overseas travel.

 

i still dont think the v600 is going to be the shit compared to the v400...only thing is bluetooth...

and :whocares: about bluetooth so much...i have absolutely no use for it...

 

You can flash the V400 to the V600.

 

i dont care about the bluetooth eitha.. i just like the feel of changable metal cases. liek my v60s metal case makes the fone feel more solid and durable than the plastic cases.
can i use the cam on the v600 as a video cam n save 5mb worth of footage?

 

I am enjoying it right now for sure. I need to change plans because I have no internet service so I cant download ringtones or other devices. They kept me on the same plan as my old cingular phone

the extra feature is just an add on to your plan itself...pay per use isnt expensive...unless you are on it a shitload

 

I just took a closer look at the V300 and the V400 and compared it to my V600.

IMO, I would wait for the V600....the V400 is just fine. And the V300 is a close second if you don't mind ugly.

i see you are in southern california, well just call for ECONO WIRELESS in the city of SAN GABRIEL, its actually the hong kong version that they have, which means you can change everything to chinese if you want, and theres some chinese character accents on the keypad above the numbers. besides that everything is coo. they also hook u up with free bluetooth headset, data cable, and extra case (all motorola brand), and a generic car charger, its free after rebates with a 69.99 family plan, or 200 after rebates with a regular 39.99 plan with tmobile or cingular. the phone is tite, its a quality phone.

only complaints are there is no flash for camera, and the speaker option is available only when the line connects. not when its ringing.

It looks like AT & T Wireless now have the V600. I placed an order today, and hopefully will pick it up after work.

I know that the V600's had some softwrae issues, does anyone know if the software issues have been resolved? I don't want to have a horror story like I have heard with the 720 !!
