Microsoft Excel question

I have a cell with alot of info in it.. Excel is cutting that info off at a certain point. Is there a limit to how many characters that can go into a cell?? If so how do you show the info that gets cut off. I tried merging 2 cells and it still cut off in the same spot..

I think there's a character limit in the field to like 255 characters.....

If the text is that big....type it up in Word and insert as an object.

I thought you could put as much as you want in a cell, but if you try to copy/paste it, it will get cut off. Maybe you are using a different version.

It looks like there is a limit of somewhere around 1000 charachters. So, as stated above, either split it up or insert an object.

The limit is 32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar.

Just take a excel sheet and put alot of info in one cell. Auto size the cell and it will chop part of the info off. U cant see it but it will still be there. Its a easy problem to re-create.
