Making a small TV (19") louder?
Making a small TV (19") louder?
Hi Guys,
I few months back I replaced my Grandma's tv in her kitchen, it was from 1980 and barely worked. The one thing it did well, was it was extremely loud, and she can't hear too well. I replaced it with a 19" RCA that I was able to get for a great price. The picture is wonderful, and it's a huge improvement to what she was use to. The only issue is I have it set at 100 volume (not even sure if this is safe) and she can still barely hear it, unless she sits real close. I can agree even at 100 volume, it's really not that loud. I know they sell soundbars for TV's, but I can't seem to find anything for a 19" size. Does anything exist? Is there any speakers or any simple solution to get the TV sound louder and clear as well?
Thanks,
Brad

If there's analog audio output then get some powered PC speakers maybe with a sub so she can here the beat drop when she's listening to dat dub step. You may need an adapter to convert the red and white cable to 3.5mm headphone (aux) jack.
