Laptop Video Card

Where would i go to get one? My cousin has a decent laptop, but the video card is BALLS. 8mb! Where would i go to get one?

CompUSA.....ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 128MB!!!!! $199 If 64 would be okay, you could probably get one for $50........

Are you even able to replace the video card? The video card on my laptop is sodered to the motherboard. I have 8 MB too and it sucks.

You cannot do it, you would have to replace the motherboard. The video cards in laptops are integrated with it. and almost all laptops you cannot even upgrade the motherboard.

My laptop has a seperate video card, it hooks to the motherboard on a long multipin connector. It's a Radeon 32mb, but you can swap memory like normal RAM. I'm thinking about getting a 64+ stick of mem to replace it with.

yeah
his sucks ass, and he needs a new one. Imma go to comp usa and see whats good with it. He has a vaio if thats any help. I got him a few games for christmas, and half of them wont play right on his comp. Any other info will be greatly appreciated...
