What software can I use to chop, parts of songs to transfer songs to use as ring tones?

Or what software can I use period to transfer songs.

Maybe I need the microSD card, because last night, I tried jus for kicks to transfer whole song and it said insert device (i think thats what it said), it was as if it was full. Does the SIM card hold anything like this?


Raheel thanks man.. Let me ask you.. This blackBerry Pearl, it uses MicroSD card, but in the manual it says to place it were SIM card is. Is that right? Did I read right? I thought it was like digital camara, hold internal and add more with memory card.

 

If u look above the sim card slot, theres a smaller slot, thats for the Micro SD Card, the phone does have 64 MB of INternal Memory, maybe you just need to set the settings to take incoming files straight to Internal Memory or something, but if u want, the 1 GB Micro SD's are like $15 everywhere shipped over the internet, that will hold at least 200 FULL SONGS

You need a micro SD card to load any music or any media on your phone. It won't let you use the 64mb.

I only use the BB software to link up at work. At home, I just plug in and use it like a flash drive to load/unload songs and media. I got the 2gb card, which only works with the updated software (i got my phone late last year and had to update it myself...not sure if the new phones have the updated software yet).

 

How can I check which software version I got?

Yeah you are right about using the internal 64mb. It does not let you. I was thinking of 2 gigs. But what the hell, 1 gig would also do fine.
