Iphone problem.

So I have discovered an issue with my Iphone. I believe that I have traced it to the power cord.

Problem is. When I plug my phone into the power block that came with the phone, using the cord that came with the phone, it charges just fine. But when I take that cord and plug it into my computer it does not work. Does not charge nor does it show up in iTunes. Same goes with my iPod. It charges my iPod just fine with the power block, but when I plug it into my pc, it does not work.

Now when I use the cord that came with my iPod. Everything works fine. Power block and pc. So I am positive that it is the cord itself. Reason I need 2 is because I need 1 for work and 1 for home. I do not want to have to take my cord home with me everyday.

Now, I was planning on running over to AT&T today at lunch to see if they will replace the cord. Now here is another problem I have. I am sure they are going to want to test it with the phone. My phone is Jailbroken, so that is out of the question.

If I take my cord only to AT&T will they replace it with testing it in house without my phone, or should I just buy a new cord? or are they going to make me buy a new cord anyways?

why is it a problem for them to test it on a jailbroken iphone? AT&T doesn't care.

Really? I just thought that it would terminate any kind of apple warranty or whatever.

They are just gonna plug it in. Do you have any jailbroken apps that would indicate it was jailbroken them from just plugging it in?

Cydia and Installer, well, that and a theme.

Anyways. Went to AT&T, they were unable to help me with the cord. I need to contact Apple..... UGH. Anything I need to know before calling Apple? If this is gonna be a huge deal, ill pony up the 20 bucks and buy a new one.

Shouldnt be a problem. Just goto a apple store and tell them the cables bad. They hook up your phone to a new cable and check yours. If it doesnt work switch it out. I have jailbroken iphone. No problems with them ever.
