iphone geeks needed!
my younger brother found a iphone 8gb 4s for sprint.. i was told it has a bad ESN.

can i use that phone if i have sprint service as well? or is it more technical than that?

It's blacklisted, you won't have service on it. Sprint will not activate it. It sucks that it is CDMA. GSM you can jb, unlock and use on a different carrier. Sorry.

Yea, it is no good on Sprint for a while. You can however flash it to some regional carriers (Metro PCS in Florida) and sell it via CL
