Is there a way to set up my e-mail address on my iphone so that when i press "mail" it doesn't go straight to my inbox? I would like it to prompt me for my password. I don't want my girl or my friends or anyone for that matter to be able to just press "mail" and start reading my e-mails.

Is this possible?

 

just set the lock on your phone. Then no can access any of it without inputing a pass code.

 

 

I'm guessing he knows that you can lock the phone.

I don't think there is a way to lock out the e-mail by itself. I:f you have more than email account and make sure your on the account page when you close e-mail it won't open to your inbox.

 

If it's jailbroken you can hide the icon

 

locking the phone is good but i meant for when someone wants to use or see it. my phone isn't jailbroken so the only thing i can think of is disable e-mail if i think the phone will be in someone's hands and enable it back after. i was just hoping there was an option that you can turn on password prompt if you wanted to

 

I wish there was a password prompt to go into SMS's!
