iPhone: Antitrust case...
Just read this article and thought I'd share.

I'm really split on this whole thing. 3 years ago if you asked me about Apple, I would have said, yea, they are ok, but my PC works equally well. Fast forward to now. Personally, I own a MBP, a 27" iMac, and an iPhone for myself and my wife. Just because I own Apple stuff, doesn't mean I'm anti-M$ though. I was using XP extensively but now use Win7 on bootcamp at home on my iMac, and via Parallels on a work issued MBP. I think all technology has it's strengths, and utilizing the best of any technology is the way to go. Where I get annoyed is when companies start limiting your capabilities because of arrogance and just down right stupidity. That is probably why I hate Jobs so much. I'm all for innovation, but not at the expense of forcing developers between choosing from one technology over the other or simply not adopting already accepted technology in the mainstream because it "feels" like a PC type of technology (ie. how long did it take for apple to add a simple SD slot on the MBP?).
I was so excited at the possibility of getting into developing apps for the iPhone using my 10 years of experience with Flash, but that was quickly muted, for now. Hopefully this case will shed light on Apple's very subjective, biased tactics in development and their app approval process.
