Well, it's the first version. I'm sure it'll get better/cooler. But why Cingular? Of all the wireless carriers, I usually hear the most complaints about Cingular.

how many songs does it hold?

and yeah...pretty weak. I'm shopping for a new phone, was kind of waiting for this... but not impressed, at least not with the looks (or the price).

Actually, I think it looks pretty cool. It holds about 100 songs, but I'm assuming that's at maximum compression.

it's software limited to 100 songs. they say they'll be releasing "larger capacity" phones later. stupid gay marketing strategy.

i wouldn't buy this phone if it came with 100 free songs.

Come to think of it, the phone should at least have a touch wheel. Pretty weak.

I have a sony S710a that can hold 30ish songs but I went to some cell phone forum and learned that if you modify it's firmware it would be memory stick pro duo capable. That means that the phone could carry one GB worth of music.

If they used the e815 and verizon like they should have in the first place this would be good. If i could get i tunes on my e815 iw ould pay a couple hundred. But then i could upgrade capacity with my transflash card and sync via bluetooth. E98 = junk.

I could have strapped a nano to the back of a razr and made a smaller and better iPhone
