I'm thinking it's gonna be running android honeycomb (the bee at the end was the only clue) which may or may not be more optimized for a tablet. I'm looking forward to seeing what the W7 tablets are gonna be like. Cool that motorola is getting in the game, I almost lost all respect for them until the droid phones came out.

Yeah the Moto tab is definitely running honeycomb thats . In fact Andy Rubin (head Android guy) held up a motorola tablet running honeycomb a couple weeks ago at the D: Dive Into Mobile Conference. They're just announcing it at CES. There's a few screenshots that look like this.

that's what was underneath the curtain

Supposedly it's going to be called XOOM. That's the patent that Moto has filed in a bunch of countries and they're supposedly not a company that files patents for fake names just to throw people off they file when they mean it.

Thumbs up

Finally ended up opening the G-Tab today. The first 20 mins were quite frustrating as it kept on giving FC error. However once I rebooted it worked just fine. After the OTA update, things look much better. Havebeen using it for a couple hours and the UI has been decent. The viewing angle in the landscape mode sucks, however the view in portrait mode has a better viewing angle. And the lackof flash support hasn't been fun either.

P.S.: This is my first touchscreen device and typing has been a steep learning curve.
