whenever i try to create a new file it says "unable to create the ___" "there are no more files."

 

Where is it saying that? What are you trying to use to create the file?

When i right click on the desktop and goto new > ____. it shows up, and also some of my problems arent working correctly

 

I hate it when problems don't work correctly.

It sounds like you've either got a virus or spyware or both. I think a reformat and reload is the best way to go.

 

did u recently install a anti-virus program? cuz it probably deleted all the infected files...some dll or exe files, maybe. clear it and start over like dan said. cuz its a head ache trying to figure out what cause that.

Skip step 2 at the bottom
Try increasing your max registry size by a few MB and see if that helps.
If it does, you gotta figure out what is eating your registry space.

Aside from checknig for spyware, I would
A) Delete all TEMP folders and Internet Browser Cache
B) Full Virus Scan
C) Full CHKD
