Whoever buys top of the line computer dosen't really have the brain to think clearly...
Not trying to start a flame war, but...
Most people won't be able to push their computer to the extreme all da time except video/audio/graphic pros and gamers. If you are a pro, then sure why not if you got the money. But for gamers, they will always need faster and faster comptuers. By not buying the top of the line comptuer, will allow them to upgrade their system 6 month later. While with the same budget you top of the line computer is junk after 6 month.
Well if you got the cash to blow then fine with me... I won't mind buying top of the line monitor or things that will less longer. For example, my P-3 600 with 256mb of ram cost about a grand when I brought it. Sure I feel the need for speed, now. But I got two (yes 2) viewsonic 19' flat CRTs and run on a dual monitor setup.
My friends gives me the WOW everytime still.......
