HP Printer: HP LaserJet P3005

Anyone familiar with this?

http://www.shopping.hp.com/store/pro...7815A%2523ABA?

We need a network printer for a small office, 4 desktops. Any other advice would be nice.

Thanks

Well well,

I just setup this very printer today in my office.
It's replacing our 4000 series HP.

It should serve your needs fine. I have 100+ PC's printing to it & then some auto database jobs that print each night(20-50 pages)

Only complainant is with the button menus. They are touchy & if you wait too long while changing settings it resets back to defaults. PITA plugging in the IP info 3 times today.

I'm sure its fine but what makes it better than a Dell 1720dn? That printer is only $240. For another $100 you can get a second drawer.

We installed one a few weeks ago, and use it for printing checks (we got the magnetic toner cartridge for it from Staples). Works quite well.

I installed a 3005 in a real estate office about 6 months ago. = They have about 20 agents and they do a lot of printing! I've had not problems with the printer at all. Works great with printaudit, etc.

Good choice.

Yes, they bought a printer company because they couldn't figure out how to make them themselves.

I use the P2015 for my home office and I haven't had any problems.

Stick with the HP.

BTW, if you are interested, I get a 25% discount on that model. 41.7% with a mail in rebate.
