Hp printer driver bloatware is the worst pos ever
I'm still trying to get to that point. This is the screen that it's been slowly climbing to 100% on for the past 16 minutes. This is the first screen after plugging in and auto detecting the printer...

Installing drivers first will cause the software to skip the auto detect process..........

HP printers used to be the easiest to install by far. It was simple, just install the driver and thats it. Now they have all the pos bloatware, and take FOREVER to install. The printer themselves are not as reliable as they used to be either. I don't know what's happened to their QC but they have gone downhill over the last decade.
Ever since the auto detect for the printer ink stuff that HP puts on their systems, which disable anything else you do if the printer ink is low, I will never, EVER, buy another HP product again.
Put it on a wired network first, configure it via the printer's web interface.
Is that the CP1525nw color laser? I have one, pretty sweet but a bit slow.
Tip: If you want your toners to last longer set the option in the printer's control panel to keep printing if it thinks the cart is low.

Any time the hardware guys try to get into the software game it doesnt play out well. Far worse though than HPs printer management stuff is the credential manager that gets installed on their business laptops. That crap is supposed to make the logon process easier (ie. single sign-on) but it is so bug ridden that it has locked me out of many laptops where I can't even log on. Now the first thing I do is uninstall it on any new laptops.
