How do I use a downloaded software file?

I am trying to open up software that I have downloaded from a file sharing site. Yes, this is not an honest activity since I did not pay for the software but want to use it anyways. If you have a problem with this, stop reading, hit the back button or close window and move on. I don't need or care to receive your opinion on why I should not be doing this....If you want to send me $39.99 for the software, I'll take it and we can all feel good about ourselves...yes, I speed too.

Now, enough with the tree-hugging, owl lovers....

I have this software that got unpacked into a directory and includes an unpack file, an autorun file, a setup file, a regsetup file, an unpack application and some icon files to name a few of the 20+ files and 7-8 directories downloaded...

Now What?

Okay, I did that. It seemed to format my disk drive so I reloaded windows and all my drivers and spend 2 hours getting the sound to work again and then I reloaded all my backup files that were 11 months old but this application still won't work...what next?

OK...go back and open another dosprmpt windows and type FDISK..Hit Y. Then hit 3. Delete the Active partition on the hard drive and reboot.

EDIT Maybe you should work on the red X on your left hand side. Maybe re up an avatar. Remember 96X96 is the largest you can have the image.
