Contract is up on my 4s. Would like a new gadget to mess with. A lot of my friends have moved to the S4 and really like it. I just wanted yall's input. Thanks.

honestly, specs of phones are so close together, they all are going to operate pretty swiftly and all are going to do the same basic functions.
so, it really really doesnt matter which phone you get.
if you go to Android, you'll have a slight learning curve coming from Apple.

 

Would help if you told us what you are looking for a in a phone. What do you use it most for, what features you want, how big is too big, etc...?

 

really the only 2 choices right now are the Galaxy S4 or the HTC ONE...unless you want to wait for the Galaxy Note 3

you'll win either way coming from a 4S.

 

I personally though about going from apple to the Samsung S4 but then i remembered how great apple's warranty is and decided to continue using apple products. I do love some of the features on the S4 but can't beat walking into a apple store and walking out with a new phone if you have a reasonable issue. So far had used apple's warranty 4 time (3 different models)

 

I mostly just browse the internet. A lot of work emails. Would like log on to my work computer from it. (could do that on iphone but never really do) Take and send a lot of pictures. Watch a lot of porn. The Note2 is too big imo.


Haven't seen HTC one. I'll google it.

 

You should also take a look at the Moto X that comes out in a few weeks. You can customize it to your colorful liking too. The overall size of the phone isn't that much bigger than a 4s, but has a screen almost as big as the S4. Camera is a bit better than the iphone5, but not as good as the S4. Battery life is better than most phones today.

Or if you are on Verizon, and want a smaller frame phone that has the latest specs, check out the Droid Mini. If you want crazy battery life - Droid Maxx.

Do some research, watch youtube vids, go into a store, compare your options, hold them in your hand, and don't let sales reps sway you.
