Have ATT looking for new phones
I'm looking to get 3 new phones. 2 for my mom's one for me. All our contracts are up. Can you guys get good deals on phones or would it just be best to get a deal and renew?
call up att, ask them if you are out of contract.
(if you are out of contract then you are not held to that carrier, and you wont have to pay a cancellation fee to terminate service or to port your phone number to another carrier)
now its time to play...
tell them that you have been a loyal customer for x years.
ask them how much revenue you have made them.
then ask them how they are going to keep you as a customer.
tell them you want new phones, and what kind of special prices do they have for you.
signing a contract is going to get you the best deal. most likely even a longer term contract (2 years). So prepare to resign contracts to get a good deal
..or just tell them you can port your phone number to any wireless carrier you want, and not keep att as your service provider. (if you dont like the deal they give say this)
i recommend going thru either att directly, and have them mail you phones..
if you dont like they deal they give you tell them to note the account, tell them you will think about it and shop around.
ive seen companies drop their pants to keep customers.
you might have to argue and be a dick but it works, just dont get out of hand.

Very true. I costs them a LOT more money to keep an existing customer than to get new ones, so they will do almost anything to keep you.

Already gave them that speech, didn't work. And i'd really like to stay w/ AT&T. I wouldn't mind getting a new contract. I got my mom 2 refurbished phones and am just looking for one for myself now. I was hoping someone knew of a good way to grab a phone
