zdnet.com they have a bunch of free trials and free shareware etc... you can try that out... i have this photo resizer 1.0 or something at home...
Paint is real easy... but the only problem i sometimes run into is the dumb error message that says "Saving this file as a .jpeg or .gif may alter the color. Continue to save... blah blah blah"
The Picasa thing from google is cool to edit your digi pics... but there is no resize thing... or is there??? i even went to the help thing and search for resize and nothing...
I guess i'll piggy back since i'm looking for a good resize program myself for my work computer...

That's all I use.
I'm scared
of photoshop.
the software that came w/ my camera sucks at resizing, the picture either looks like crap or it won't do it at all.
i thought i had paint figured out but the crop feature only seems to work on the right side and the bottom of the picture.
and when i used stretch/scew it cropped the image intstead of resizing.

Ok you go to "Select All"
then you go to stretch/Skew
then you put in how much percentage you want off each side
(IE you want it 20% smaller....write in 80 percent)
the end

Why do you think Adobe hasn't cracked down on all the pirated copies of Photoshop? They are smart people, they can develop some type of product activation.
How else can you get people to adopt such a complicated/feature rich program when a good potion of your prospect users are in highschool early college? I'll even argue pirated copies HELP adobe with sales. What kid/young adult is going to shell out $500 for a copy of a program to learn it in order to get into an industry where he/she will appy it?
Please don't take my argument as justification of stealing, I'm only posing an interesting view on the position of their product.
