Forehead Slap Du Jour

I was driving home from John Wayne Airport when I saw a beautiful, brand-spanking-new Anthracite TL (so new it still had the Cerritos Acura dealer plates on it). As the car passed in front of me, I noticed that the driver was holding a cellular phone up to his right ear.

well.........could have been perhaps just a poor soul whose cellular company hasn't "seen the light" yet.

That's not THAT outrageous... I had to do that until I got a bluetooth phone... they're expensive!

Logic would suggest that if the car were less than a week old, he was on the phone asking Verizon when his damned v710 was in stock.

I paid $500+ for a Samsung i600 with accessories earlier this year from Verizon. It runs Windows Mobile 2003, but Verizon in thier infinite wisdom removed the native bluetooth functionality from WM2003, and no one makes a bluetooth SD card with drivers for WM2003. Long story short, I will be holding a phone to my right ear for at least a couple of years... or until someone makes a SD bluetooth card that works with the i600. If I had only known...

Bluetooth is amazingly hard to find in phones...

AT&T could only offer me 2 Bluetooth options, neither of which I liked. I didn't want to change plans, so I bought an unlocked Sony Z600 offnetwork.

It's sad when your phone choice is partly driven by the car you don't yet own...

They do have a device that makes any cellphone bluetooth. I do not know if it would intergrate with the TL but it works will bluetooth accessories. I saw it in a stuff/maxim magazine, I will look for it and report back

No, they don't integrate. And like Lore said some companies don't offer, some people can't afford, and others are waiting on a better phone.

I sometimes do that because the road noise and the HFL make it tough for the person on the other end of the call to hear me well.
