few questions on my v551

I just switched from sprint to cingular and went from my old (very thin)
sanyo 6400 to a much more feature packed motorola v551...

but now i don't know how to do anything.... (cell phone noob all over again)

1) Is the battery life supposed to be good, my girlfriend and i got the same phones together (gotta love corporate discounts) but my phone seems to only last about one day, and i mean just the day part of a day, I was hoping it would be better

I have been talking on it for about 30-45 minutes a day (maybe an hour) and it dies at night, is this normal??? it is a week old

2) I want to get the usb cable and a case and some accessories, are there any good places to get this stuff??? Is ebay ok if I buy the oem ones or does it matter?? when i try to search i am flooded with crap

I need a case that covers up the camera because technically i am not supposed to have it at work, and they took one kids and destroyed it, but half the officers carry camera phones anyway, because thats all anyone sells... what case is there that will cover up the front but still fits this (kinda fat) phone

3) do i need the motorola mobile phone tools, my friend said he would let me try his out to see if i liked it, but is it necessary? :noob:

4) lastly, i think i am going to get the hs820 bluetooth headset, any suggestions of why or why not to get this one????

thanks for any and all help

1) It all depends the way you use it, if you use bluetooth a lot that takes most of your battery life, but 1-2 days is avg for a phone depending on how you use it, and I am sure u been opening up and messing with it more cuz its new

2) You can get a like a pocket case, where you put your phone into protect it, but its hidden, you can buy OEM Cables, just make sure the seller has good feedback

3) I have never messed with Motorola Phones for Sending ringtones to it and etc, but I believe that Mobile Phone tools is required and I have a copy for you for free, just im me on my sn AcuraZine Raheel and I will get you a copy, its really big though.

4) I used to use that Headset its very nice and small, and supports the new Bluetooth Technology 1.2, I know someone that uses it with there V500 Just fine, it is very comfortable and pretty cheap now, But If you want something more new than its not the right choice, its been out for a while now. The new Bluespoon AX Looks promising but I cant say because I havent tried it yet, I actually Recommend getting the Scala 500 its nice and small and very affordable and very good quality according to reviews.

Any more questions?

By the way your better off getting a Bluetooth Adapter for your phone and sending files over to your phone that way, its probably about the same price as a OEM Motorola USB Cable or maybe more, but its a lot easier to use and wireless
