Favorite iPhone Apps?
so... I've prepaid for the 3G-S and it's my first iPhone... it was kinda a spontaneous decision... I've been a "Pocket PC" fanboy for the longest time... I really don't know a whole lot about the iPhone... When I picked up the HTC "Tilt" about 6-8 months ago... (or whenever the first version 3G came out), I had the option to get the iPhone 3G... but opted not to because it didn't have copy and paste... Now, it does... and when Apple sent me the usual upcoming products email... I started watching the video... I was sold on it.
Anyway, I know there's a thread on "Favorite Cell Phone Apps" that died as soon as it was started... but this is regarding iPhones only... If this is considered a repost....Mods.. please delete or merge.
Please share...

I have a select number of apps. These are my top three favorites:
1. Shazam - Listens to 10 seconds of a song and gives you the artist, title information, and the option of buying it on iTunes.
2. Decibel - Uses the iPhone's built-in microphone to provide noise levels (up to 105 decibels).
3. Fuel Log - Input mileage, gallons, and total cost and the app calculates average MPG, cost per mile, and total miles.

iMob I'm on that thing like 5 times a day. But getting pretty bored of it because getting more mobsters is time consuming.
As for games, I really like iDracula. It gets addicting but kind of repetitive at times. But if you REALLY want your money's worth, buy geoDefense. It's like Tower Defense or whatever Starcraft and Warcraft has. You defend enemies from reaching the end but the levels are no joke. It's been keeping me occupied for a month now whenever I need a quick time killer.
WritePad is a really good notepad program because I can jot down notes on the fly ie address for gps, food orders, homework, etc. I like it because you just type and quit and your information will still be there, no need to hit the save button. Although you still need to save it if you're gonna use it later on.
ToDo is also a good producitivity program but I don't think it's a must have or anything. I just needed a simple To Do program to keep my reminded.
Pandora is a must when I'm doing homework or working out and just need some background noise
Since you have the 3GS, I'm pretty sure you can't get it jailbroken yet. If your phone was jailbroken, there's a ton that I can recommend. But as of right now, jailbreaking the 3GS is a bit complicated.

I called them a few months ago to cancel, the lady asked me why, I told her I was cancelling because they were taking away services or making me pay more to keep some (the web access). Told her that I can listen to just about any radio station on the web, I wasn't going to pay them more to do so. So w/o the web access I didn't really need them. She renewed me with free web access and the serivce in my car for $80 for the year.

Gotta question regarding the Sirius/XM app. If I have it on my phone, will I get signal inside a big building? Like a gym?
