Excel question (exponents)
Excel question (exponents)
I am doing a graph for my Chemistry lab and need to graph some exponents.
Example
I need to take 6.98*10^14. How can I a column of these together and then put them in a a scatter graph and have it show 6.98*10E14 (or whatever it would look like). I don't need excel to calculate the value, just show the number (X)*10E14. Probably a simple question, but I can't find any answers that do what I need. I know it can be done, my lab partner did it a couple weeks ago, but I don't remember how he did it.

So you need the (X) number only? And not the exponent?
When you enter the number, you only need the E. For example, for 6.98*10^14, you would only need to enter 6.98E14. Just an FYI
