My mind is drawing a blank on figuring out a more efficient formula for this...

I'm trying to think of a formula that replaces this one: the sum of the cost of all the roles in a particular month which have "1" in them.

The reason I'm using this method of marking 1s is to make it easy for future people to just mark a 1 in the months they want the resource to start...

Right now the formula just the sum of everything with "1" and multiplies it against the 'per month' cost.

sumproduct() will be your friend.
