Got a V710 - am I correct that to access the Web with the phone I have to have web access in my plan with Verizon? (I know it sounds dumb, but all my previous phones did not have web capability). Take pity on a cell/Net virgin.

ask about the quick 2 net feature. if you have the mobile office kit aka connectivity kit you have free internet access. your cell phone acts as a modem and verizon wireless is you isp. this service is free except for the fact that it counts against your minutes (can you say unlimited nights and weekends?). it is, however a 14.4kbps connection running a compression client. i havent been on dial-up for a while but it will do in a pinch or when i am travelling with my laptop.
