DC/Baltimore/Annapolis Mobile Service Coverage survey-

Could you tell me what service you have, and where you experience dropped calls? I'm thinking of switching to Verizon, but have heard of people losing reception in downtown Bethesda. Also, while sailing back to Galesville into the West River south of Annapolis last weekend my friend had his Verizon phone drop a call, very strange.

I have Sprint, and have pretty good reception (for the msot part) and the calls are fairly clear.

Any of you have ATT/Cingular GSM phones in the area? Curious as to their reception-

I've got verizon. There about a handful of place where I don't get service, but thet are usually at a friends' house that happens to be in a dead zone.

Where do your friends live? In what area (DC/MD/VA) and community?

I hardly drop a call with Sprint, but I would hate to switch to Verizon and sign up w/ a contract to have worse service, hmmm....

It's not a certain area. I'm actually talking about a specific house. People ususally have to go outside the house in the yard just to get service. That's what I mean by dead spots. I've never lost a calll while I'm on the move. I'll have service when most anyone that I'm with won't.
