Dropbox: News and Discussion Thread
Hey not to ruin the fun but you guys can also join Live Mesh it's basically the same technology but it's actually better. It comes with 5gb of online storage space, plus you can sync files p2p directly between computers and not with the online storage if you want and therefore you'd have limitless storage space. You can access your online stored files from mobile phones and you can remote access any of your linked computers including macs (Full mac support coming soon). It will eventually natively support macs and mobile phones so you can synce files directly between PC, mac and mobile phones. It's better than this in many ways and it's free and you don't need an invite. you can sign up at www.mesh.com Been using it for a few months and it works great.

posted Feb 3rd 2012 12:22PM Here's some good news for all you Dropboxers out there: the company is offering a bundle of free storage space to anyone who tries the beta version of its new Experimental software. It's really quite simple: just download the test program, upload a photo, and instantly get 500MB of free storage. Upload another photo or video, and an additional 500MB will magically appear at your doorstep. The idea is to test out the beta software's new photo and video uploader, which automatically pulls media from any camera, smartphone or SD card and drops it in the cloud. Free space is limited to 5GB per user, and there's an inherent risk to testing any unfinished product, but those willing to make the leap can find all the requisite materials and information at the source link, below
