Do I need a new battery or what?

My fossil watch that I have had for about 2-3 years now just randomly seems to lose time. For about every 8 hours the clock is slow 20-30 minutes. Is it just a new battery needed or a new watch?

Change the damn thing yourself for three bucks and find out.

I'm sure that's your problem.

The little gnome in your watch who turns the gears is probably getting old. You should look into capturing a new gnome... but they are hard to find these days...gnome poaching has decimated their populations due to the high demand on the black market for miniature pointy hats.

New batter should fix the problem. Take off the back and take the battery out and take it into a batteries plus or a jewlery store get the same number battery, take it back put it in, put the cover back on, set the time, and you should be good to go. Dont pay to get it put in as it is extremely easy and you'll end up giving away 10 bucks. The battery itself should be about 5 bucks though.

Yeah, you'll need to get the number (size) off of the battery so you replace it with the right one. They make about a billion different types of those coin-style batteries.

The manual might have the battery size in it as well.

Either way you need one of them tiny screwdrivers if you don't want to take it to a watch hut or jeweler who can do that sort of thing.

He was probably riding along on his gerbil when you decided to do your best Richard Gere impersonation and make them both disappear in your two-hole
