Dell Laptop Deals (when is the best)
I am thinking of getting a dell laptop a 6000 inspirion model and they have this 750 off an 1899 purchase. Seems like a really good deal, is this as good as it gets?
Or should i hold out another month or 2 and see if a better deal comes along. Also is there anyway to combine more 2 or more coupons together?
I was also wondering if any of you guys know how good the tv tuner card is for the 6000 model or if i should just pass on it. Beecause i don't want to end up getting it and the picture comes out fuzzy blurry or really crappy.

Jump on this deal mang. I just purchased a Inspiron 9300 last week and got it delivered over the weekend. Those coupons are the bomb and you get a lot of bang for your buck. The coupons won't be around forever and seemingly hasn't changed all summer, so if you have the bucks, go get one. Also check out these websites:

Long and short of it...the price of a Dell laptop today will probably be the same as 2 months from now ... maybe you'll get some upgraded add-ons for waiting.
I don't think they allow more than 1 coupon but I could be wrong.
Go to cnet.com or something like that to get hardware reviews for things like tv tuners.

i have decided that i will just wait and check out a few laptops at stores and see what i like. from what i hear from ppl i know , dell's aren't the most reliable and I will consider getting a sony or a fujitsu because i hear those monitors resemble the flatscreen crt monitors (sony - xbrite) that have much clearer picture quality.

Dell sells direct so the price is often better than on comparable machines. But you can't test drive a Dell so you just have to hope u got it right once you open that FedEx box.
Good luck!

I got my 6000 about a year ago. I upgraded it a little bit (tripled the RAM and a few other options). I got it for $808 shipped. The $750 deal is as low as they go on the 6000.

Don't wait for Vista, it'll have higher requirements than XP but not overwhelming. They haven't gave solid requirements yet. Late 2004 computer technology will run it, minor upgrades possible.

I love my 700m, forget anything bigger. This is the perfect size for airplane travel. Even when the fat ass in front of me reclines, I can still have it fully open. They had the DVD burner when I got my 700m, but I didn't get it as my desktop has one that will smoke it. I did add the bigger battery + the standard for $129. Works great, I only use the big one on plane/car trips and the little one the rest of the time. I got mine when they were doing that awesome $750 off $1500
A guy I worked with got a 6000 a month before I got my 700m. He curses everytime he sees mine, says he wishes he would have done that instead. I was going to do a Sony S series, but it was $2900 for the same thing as my $900 Dell....screw that!
Friends don't let friends buy big laptops. My girlfriend hates mine, I just tell her to go get hers then. "But mine is heavy..."
