how do you do it? i haven't done it in a long time and i forgot.

just use whatever media player your using... theyll do it.

winamp for instance.

i was trying to use winamp but i'm not sure which "output" plugin to use and how to configure it

sometimes you have to pay for that fucntionality (i think), most free versions of stuff will rip a cda to mp3, but not the wav to mp3. hope you find something, let us know if you do.

I use Music Match Jukebox and its very easy to use. Download the freeware and go to the File option up the top and select convert, you can convert and compress the WAV to a MP3 very small in size.
