Copy of Windows 2000 Server?

Hey guys...

I have a COPY of Windows 2000 ADVANCED SERVER, but I have no clue how to use it. I installed it on one of my computers and I was just overwhelmed with it. I am just learning Windows 2000 Professional and I wanted to play around with Windows 2000 Server. Not the ADVANCED copy. Anyone willing to make me a copy? Is it true that Windows 2000 ADVANCED SERVER goes for over $1000???

Thanks!

AL

It should look just like Professional, unless you go looking for the extra stuff.

Just install and use the Advanced Server. Unless you go looking for it's added features, you would never know the difference. I think one of the things that makes it different is that it can support multiple processors systems.

As long as you don't install Terminal Services and Active Directory it will be basically the same as Professional.

I have Advanced Server on my computer... pain in the ass if you ask me... I'm formatting my hard drive and installing Professional... I wouldnt bother with Advanced unless you are planning to turn your computer into a server otherwise, save the extra space

Thanks for the advice. I'm not going to bother with Advanced Server. I'll stick to Professional.
