Anyone have any experience with recovering files that have been quaranteened or deleted by AVG Free?
The stupid program wiped out EVERYTHING on our Toshiba - including all of Brandon's pictures from his year in Honduras and all of our "favorites" bookmarks. Am I screwed?

How do I check? I'm basically clueless about antivirus software (obviously, since everyone thinks I installed the wrong one!) And to answer your last question, I guess I don't know, actually.

Go up to the 'History' menu; top left corner; click.
click 'Virus Vault, it should open a window with any contents.
If you can paste a screen shot of the contents, perhaps the experts here can advise appropriately.
