Crazy that they are keeping the original case on it. Hopefully if they are smart they'll make a new case as well down the line. I like the idea of bringing back the brand.

but seriously, it's a cool idea, but it just wouldn't look right with a LCD flat screen monitor

So the C64 will come with Blu-Ray support and Macs still don't have it!

I remember learning how to program in 7th grade on a C64. Lots of fun, at the time.

I never owned one, but I really miss the Amiga. My buddy had an A500 and it was sweet. It's amazing what they were able to do in the late 80s. The chipset in that thing was many years ahead of anything else at the time.

i might get me one of these!

a few years ago i grabbed the old big program book of games and programed them into the machines i used on the ship to fix aircraft parts.

but aside from people who had the original i dont see people buying these

when I was reading the specs on this the other day I was thinking it might be a joke.. this is pretty crazy they are cramming that much stuff into this thing!

to be honest if the dimentions are the same as the original that is plenty of space look at laptops even a large powerfull laptop is not the tall (excluding monitor) the c64 is almost the size of a midtower in hight if layed down and that is basically what it is a tower with a built in keybord
