Ok I've searched and I've read so please dont respond with "do a search" b/c I've gotten about 3 different answers to this question

Which current model Cingular phones allow you to phonebook synchorization? I could careless about battery life and signal strength.

Thanks - Gerod.

On Acura's official website there is a list of the phone and the functionality of each compatible phone.

I looked over it quickly and the according to the chart Acura provides, the Sony Ericsson W810i, Sony Ericsson Z520A, Sony Ericsson Z525a, Sony Ericsson W600i and Sony Ericsson W300i will import its phonebook with the HFL. Check out the Acura website to back me up and make sure I didn't miss one or make a error.

It matters- the '04-'06 TLs don't have any synchronization/addressbook download capability. If you need the download capability, get one of the Ericssons from the Acura site that GIBSON6594 mentioned and is listed as compatible. I specifically chose an "older" model HFL-compatible phone for my '05.
Otherwise, you are taking chances on not being able to download the address book or being a beta tester. You might check the "Audio, Bluetooth..." sub-forum in the 3G forum to see if anyone else was able to download address books from anything other than an Ericsson.
