Mav,
I don't have a TL yet, nor a bluetooth phone, but I do have Alltel here in NC. Over on Howardforums, there is talk of the Motorola V710 which is coming out. As a matter of fact, I just changed my plan about 2 weeks ago and asked about bluetooth phones. The chick told me that they are looking into having a bluetooth phone soon (a few months away). You might want to go over to Howardforums and do a search.

Word is Verizon's going to roll out a CDMA/BT phone later this year. I'm guessing it will be a Motorola (if it happens). Until then, you need to go with a non-CDMA provider.

You're in the same boat as the Verizon customers,,,,waiting for the release of the V710. But we've been hearing "any day now" for quite some time.

Verizon is said to have 4-5 bluetooth enabled handsets by the end of the year. The first of all of them is the Motorola V710.

As of tonight, Verizon tech rep stated " no current plans for bluetooth due to security reasons"....whatever that means.

That means he doesn't know what he's talking about and reaching into a barrel of monkeys to feed you answers. Look at the amount of bluetooth phones out on the market for U.S./ Europe/ and Asia and go back to his statement. He should be slapped with a rubber chicken for that comment.
