Does Verizon cripple Bluetooth on all their phones? I know they completely fucked it up on the V710. What about LGs and specifically the 8600?

I want to sync stuff with my laptop if/when I get that phone.

 

As far as I know this is what you can do with the BT on this phone: connect to stereo headsets for music (which I have), earpieces, send contact information to another phone and connect to a BT dongle on the pc (don't have that, but read you can). Now for the connecting to the pc, does that mean it can sync it? I don't know but www.howardforum.com would have the answer.

Originally you were suppose to be able send full songs to other vx8600s with the BT, but of course verizon cripped that, sharing ringtones and etc.

 

Yes, syncing with a Mac/PC. Cingular doesn't dumb down BT software like Verizon does, do they?

 

I don't think they they limit BT like verizon. I don't know why verizon does dumb things like that.

 

BT is crippled on the choclate as well as many other phones.
