I have to do a 20 minute presentation on bluetooth for work. Google has helped me a bunch, but I was just curious if you guys know of any cool uses other than keyboard, mouse and cellphone/PDA stuff. I am going to include the double amputee that has bluetooth legs. I know apple has Bluephone Elite, but the firm only uses PCs.

 

bluetooth music you can send music from lets say your sell phone to bluetooth headphones or even desktop speakers.

 

Bluetooth cell phones can transmit their photos to other phones or to places that make prints.

 

I use bluetooth to send stuff from my computer onto my phone all the time. Music, video, pics, etc....

Military uses in wireless communicatoin in headsets and heads up displays, GPS wireless antenna applications.

 

Remote Control. I can use my cell phone to control the pointer on my PC via bluetooth.

at UPS, every driver in he country gets all their information for the day through bluetooth. We used to have to hook up data ports to upload the days itinerary, but now the whole building is bluetooth enabled and you can download wirelessly from anywhere.

Also, we have finger scanners for use at bulk stops that are paired with our DIADS(the computers we all carry)so you dont have to hold the 4lb. board in your hand. Not sure if this is of any help for you??

 

OH yeah they have bluetooth cb radios too, so you do all your 10-4 good buddies wirelessly now!

lets not forget the bluetooth game controllers in the PS3 and the remote control for blu-ray/DVDs
