Yes Sony Ericcson T608 only phone available from Sprint. U cant order it from their website, you MUST call this number to order 866/727-2886

COst of the phone is 199.00 I believe. If u call the regular Sprint PCS #'s, they wont be able to tell you this phone IS available.

The phone works OK...i prefer Samsung or MOTOROLA phones, but this will do until Sprint pulls its head out of its A$$ and gets some better bluetooth phones. I use this phone in both the 04TL and an 04 LS430 with bluetooth capabilities.

Amazingly, I clicked on "Search" and typed in "Sprint bluetooth" and came up with several older posts asking (and answering) the same question. Magic!

Vegas, don't hold your breath for a Motorola phone on Sprint. That was the reason I left them about 6 months ago. I was told there was some kind of falling out between Motorola and Sprint which explains why there hasn't been a Motorola phone for Sprint in a couple of years. In fact Sprint is the ONLY carrier that will not carry a Motorola phone.

I have the sony. Aside from short battery life it works just fine. I keep mine plugged in to the car anyway.

I actually read an article about Motorola and Nokia losing market share to LG and Samsung because MOT and NOK were not willing to brand their phones and build them with the feature sets spec'd by Sprint and Verizon. They have since changed their position so I wouldn't be surprised to see new phones from them soon. Assuming of course that the relationship between Sprint and Verizon can be resurrected.

Anyone else hear anything like this?

I talked to someone from Sprint and they said they should be releasing a few bluetooth phones within 2 months. They had no idea what brand the phones would be. Hope this helps somebody.

Thanks zalik22...........when I emailed Sprint 2 days ago I got a response that was so non-commital and evasive. I asked if it would be this month, this quarter, this year.................I could not pin an answer down. Anybody else know or hear anything?

There was some discussion that they may offer the Moto710. Verizon will release it first but who knows. I have the 608 now and am happy with it. The battery life is a little suspect but I have chargers everywhere now along with a spare battery.
