Best Service
Best Service
Getting off my parents fam plan since I am somewhat in the real world. I have had Verizon since I was 16 and now I need a new service provider. I would go back with verizon except my experience with there OS and restrictions have me weary of them. So who is the best service provider...I was thinking Cingular. but not sure. All the reviews online are from 2004 or 2002 and shit like that. I am talking right now.
Sony Ericsson w810i. Most durable phone I have ever owned. I've dropped it more times than I can count, including one ~10 ft. plummet onto a set of railroad tracks and it still works as well as the day I got it.
I got Tmobile and Cingular.. Theyre both good for me. Sprint/Nextel = SHYT. Verizon = Corp. Snobs... so either T or Cin. is good for you. Although Cin DOES get better signal, its up to you. Love your Avatar... Thas my WIFE!! :P
I have Cingular using a Samsung Blackjack and it works very well where ever I go (rural areas can be hit, or miss).
From what I have seen:
-Cingular Pros: Great service in metro areas and suburbs, cheaper service costs than Verizon, best selection of phones
-Cingular Cons: Service not so great in rural areas

So many times my W810i slipped out of my pocket while I was at the gym and collided with the floor. There's scratches on every corner of the phone, and some dents even, but still works great.

If not...

LOL I have a perfect credit history
I picked up the blackjack today...love it so far. I am going to test the laptop tethered today and see how fast it is.
After years with Verzion, I switched to Cingular to get the Blackjack. After trying numerous differnet devices, I dumped Cingular. There is no comparrision in voice quality. Back at Verizon now, and will never go back to GSM until they figure out a way to provide better voice services as opposed to the antiquated time division from 1980.
Oh, and I tried TMo too, same crap....

Also incase you didnt know, Verizon phones run off of CDMA which is NON-international and NON-SIM card. That technology is A LOT older and A LOT stronger signal... So it really is a matter of time til they're gonna toss CDMA out for good cuz Cingular service is on its way to being truely "Reliable".
Other than that Cingular is the only wireless provider that has released 3G speeds on GSM, the only one that has a employee union, and the only one that will soon be holding more than just wireless service (ex. Landline, and Home Internet Services). We're so damn rich we got it made... jus a matter of time people start realizing it.

NOW... People may still talk shyt about us, but numbers speak louder 86 Million Customers arent staying with us cuz we're not the best...
I got cingular without looking at Sprint and its crazy
my Bill: $100/m Unlimited TXT, PDA Connect Unlim, 450/5000nights/weekends
Sprint: Same shit = $64/m...why is cingular $36 more, plus sprint has unlim nights and weekends for the same price as cing 5000...
I dont know about service so let me know.

I have had sprint since 02 and have never had a single complaint. I have traveled from maine to Cali and have yet to find a spot where my phone is totally out of coverage. My current plan is 105/m, unlimited txt messaging, 2000 anytime minutes, each additional 100 minutes cost $5, free nights and weekends, nights start at 7, international calling (rates are pretty good). I am looking to get unlimited data plan since I use my treo a lot for email and other applications.
I have never been with any other service provider because i never felt the need to do so

. But you're pretty much right, you are one of the rare few who dont have complaints and actually have good service with Sprint. But statistics show that Sprint/Nextel lost 300,000 in the last quarter of 2006. Soo... Its pretty intresting what the competition is gonna do to stay afloat :P
