I love the magic trackpad. If you have to use a mouse...its whatever one feels best to you.

I always preferred logitech back when I used them.

Did not know the magic trackpad would work with the Macbook Pro. Reason I am asking, is because the trackpad on my Macbook Pro is jumpy and all over the place, is there a way to fix this? Tried cleaning it really good, was ok for awhile, but now acting erratic again. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like you need to take it in for service - that's not normal.
Only think I've seen make it be "jumpy" is if there's either something else touching the trackpad (eg: if you have big hands, the lower part of your left hand may rest touching the trackpad while you try using it with your fingers of the right hand), or if your fingers are wet or oily.

Sounds like a swollen battery, how old is it? A lot of users, that reported the same thing, found that the battery was putting so much pressure on the bottom of the track pad that it was screwing with it.

If that is not the problem, I would just get a replacement track pad and fix it yourself. The replacements are under $40 on the bay and here is a walk through on replacing it. I love the magic trackpad but having to pull out a trackpad, really takes the easy of use away from a laptop.

Good luck!
