Best device for going online?

I really just want something to use in addition to my cell phone. Basically when I'm out somewhere I know ill be bored, so I can check out web pages, and talk on AIM, and check some important things when I need to.

Right now Im considering getting a Sidekick 3, and just using it for internet. Is there anything else you guys recommend? Also if I were going with the Sidekick 3, where would be the best place to get one? And how much would I pay a month for service?

As trendy as they are...They seem to be my best option. Does anyone have one?
Can I just use the online service, and not pay for minutes?

if you're looking for something just for web-browsing, I suggest looking at something from Sprint or Verizon...their EVDO "broadband" service is faster than T-mobile or Cingular's edge network. None of these are techincally "broadband" as compared to REAL internet broadband, but you get the idea.

BUt it also depends on your area and if you even have decent sprint or verizon coverage.

I have dingleberry service with Cingular, but I also have a voice plan and have about 2000 rollover minutes to my account which is why I'm staying with them. Sprint is ok around my location, but T-mobile/Cingular has the most coverage here. Verizon is good but I don't like their product offerings.

Don't know if you know about the Cingular 8125. I just got this phone and it's sick. I think it's just like the tmobile mda. This phone is awesome. It's got windows mobile 5.0 and windows media player.

How much did you pay? Is the internet speed decent? Can you go to webpages easy?

Nokia e70. See other thread in this forum. It's out, and I've got one right next to me.
