So if AT&T is not going to support MMS.. Then what is the point?
I guess I just don't understand why it could be so hard to support that. They support it on their free cheap phones, but not an iPhone.. WTF is that about?

my favorite moments:
13in unibody macbook is now macbook pro
$99 iPhone 3G
OS 3.0 available on June 17th
I was let down a little with Snow Leopard but I kindof expected to be GCD and OpenCL don't seem to bring the across the board performance increases I was hoping for.

Why does it take so long for them to support it? It makes no sense, unless they have to make the change to the entire data plan, which I still do not understand why it would take till the end of summer.
The one time I had to call AT&T, I asked them about MMS and the girl that I was talking to said that I would have to call apple to find out about that. MMS is all on Apples side... Come to find out it's not..

Dunno why it would take AT&T so long to support mms and tethering.
But as far as voice quality, I am happier with AT&T.
I don't get why places are saying the iphone got a much needed upgrade to its camera - from what ive seen the first 2 iphones had one of the best phone cameras with excellent low-light ability as well. It just seems like its hard to take a bad pic with it.
btw I didn't know the last iterations of iphone didnt have VIDEO!! WTF? phones have had video since what, early 2000's???? right up there with copy/paste. welcome to 2001, iphone.
and, ridiculous price on that $99. that is amazing.

Hmm...while I am not bouncing off the walls at the announcements that are a part of the iphone 3gs, my biggest question is whether AT&T will honor their existing decision to allow iphone 2g customers to upgrade to a 3G (or possibly a 3gs) at the new contract rates. I have held on to my 2g iphone because I did not want to spend the money at the time, but if the opportunity is there now to get the latest version for the right price, I might be willing to part with my money.

99 bucks for the 3g
