Apple: WWDC Thread
Finally watched the keynote. Some nice additions.
I'll keep saying it...STOP letting Eddy Cue talk...he sucks at it. He never looks past the first row, which makes it looks like he keeps his eyes closed. He always messes up, and he has the charisma of pile of dung. He looks like he is special needs. The other guys weren't great either.
Craig Federighi is really great though. Great public speaker, good energy, charismatic.
The other guys...horrible.

June 4-8.
keynote on Monday June 4.
This year, Apple is expected to introduce iOS 12, macOS 10.13.4, tvOS 12, watchOS 5, and new software for the HomePod.
Rumors also say a low-cost MacBook Air may be announced. As well as iPad Pros with Face ID.

Surprised nobody bumped this.
I honestly did not know any details about what was coming out. It's funny, everything is kept airtight. One of my coworkers that I see almost every day was working on the Apple Card, and I had no freaking clue.
The celebrity cameos were unexpected.

I'm very curious about the Apple Card. It's made out of titanium, I like gimmicky shit like that. Besides the points bonuses, one reason why I got the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Which brings me to my next point, Apple Card won't have points... hmm. But they claim industry-leading low interest rates and no fees. I pay off your cards to 0 or close to it, so
Could help your debt utilization? You get bonus points for buying Apple products with it too, of course.

Its 3 percent cash back for Apple stuff. 2 for everything else.
cash gets credited back to your account right away.

So if most places you shop don't take Apple Pay and/or you have cards with higher % back, it might not be worth it.
I get 2% back on everything with Fidelity Rewards Visa Signature (no limit). Combined with 5% back at various retailers/categories each quarter with other cards, and there likely not going to be a sign up bonus, not worth it for me.
And maybe move conversation over to https://acurazine.com/forums/money-i...thread-975392/ ?

If an Apple Card is easier to get like a Cap1 then they'll net a lot of business. True there are cards that pay much better but the FICO restrictions might be tighter. It's nice to have competition, maybe Cap1 will finally bump up the 1.5%
iOS for iPad rumored to change to iPadOS
maybe I can finally use my iPad more.
Just hoping for a proper filesystem and option for mouse support.
and supporting ProRes would be nice.
