It's month to month no contract, cancel when you want add when you want.

I'm getting 3G in case of travel. Because if they are unlocked like they say, then I can just pop in a sim card from a country I'm visiting and not deal with expensive international rates.

Yeah like Mizouse said, it's month to month. So I activated it right before I went on a business trip, paid the 30 bucks, and canceled it right before it auto-renewed.

The only reason why I chose to do this instead of use my Droid X as a hotspot (which is 20 bucks a month) is that I didn't want to wear down the battery on my phone, especially when I'm traveling and may not have access to my charger and/or an outlet.

I'll be able to hand it down if the iPad2 is that compelling.

For those who may not be aware, a bunch of EA Games apps for iPad are currently on sale for $0.99.

http://www.gamezebo.com/news/2010/12...-99-cents-each

I picked up NFS:HP, SimCity, Madden 11, and a few others.

The most evil place in the world...just walking in one literally makes me want to vomit. When I was in Detroit last weekend I needed to get some more rubbermaid action packers...they were the only place in town that had them, so I went.

I walked in and walked out...I could not for the life of me give them my money.

I didn't even know what they were, but no doubt people that use them are Walmart customers, use them or not.

They are heavy duty bins. I use them to fed-ex my gear across the country. Load em, throw lock on them, ship, done.

Can anyone recommend a case for an iPad that will be handled by kids under age 10? I'm not really concerned with scratches. I would just like something that may help save it if it gets dropped. Has anyone dropped one? How did it make out?

I keep mine in one of these.

http://www.amazon.com/Targus-Z-Case-...4084008&sr=8-8

I haven't dropped it, but this keep it well-protected in my daily backpack. Only thing I don't like is it has to be out of the case to charge.

I was using this one:

http://www.goincase.com/products/detail/cl57512R

I dropped it when it was "closed" and got a tiny ding on one of the corners. But no other damage. Now my girlfriend and I both have this one:

http://www.targus.com/uk/product_det...p?sku=THZ022EU

She dropped hers (also closed) and got a slightly worse ding in pretty much the same spot. Unfortunately both cases leave some of the corners exposed even when they are closed. But they both did a good job of protecting from any major damage.
