Anything better than a RAZR V3 right now?

So my family plan is eglible for a upgrade at discounted cost. Anyways are there any phone(non smartphones) better than the Razr? If not are there any good smartphones that are worth it for a college student? Also service provider is Cingluar.

I don't think Cingular has much of a smartphone selection, but they do have the Treo 650, and the Motorola A1200 (AKA Ming). Also there's the HTC 8125. You probably know already, but smartphones are expensive.

At the moment almost anything is better than a RAZR V3. What kind of phone are you looking for? A nice looking phone or a phone with nice features? Or both?

Any newer phone that looks sharp and has good call quality. I guess there nothing really better than the razr maybe the cholcat or slvr. But I rather keep the razr. And the Palm Treo aint bad 199. Still is it worth it for a sophmore in college? Im just looking for any top of the line phone.

Completely ate your last sentence.

T-Mobile SDA = Cingular 2125 minus Wi-Fi

My friend just got this phone and I love it a lot. The screen is large, bright, clear, wifi, etc. My only beef is that we tried installing windows mobile software and found that the pda couldn't handle most programs we tried (a few emulators, vlc). I am sure this will not be a problem for very long as they get better, but how much more can you expect for $250 ish.

Sda

You can always personalize both the start screen and registry. Mine is severily hacked already. I can play aacPlus streams, use T9 Spanish to write, hear music using bluetooth headsets, etc.

Yeah. I use they numeric keypad to type. T9 works well on guessing words.
If you want a full keyboard, then wait till 07. There is something like the Motorola Q coming for Cingular.

I decided on the pearl. But seriously the razr is pretty freaking good I was just wondering if there was any new technology phones out. I have to say razr is probably the phone I owned.
